Tiphaereth Israel Synagogue

Tiphaereth Israel Synagogue is one of Mumbai's Bene Israel synagogues, with roots in the late 19th century and a larger present building dating from 1924. It is also known as Kandlekar's Synagogue, after Aaron Benjamin Kandlekar, whose support helped establish the current site.

Inside, the synagogue preserves details such as the women's gallery, decorative metalwork, hanging lamps, and the central bimah, giving a quieter look at Mumbai's Jewish heritage.
