Sebang Sunset Observatory is the classic west-coast viewpoint on Jindo. The lookout faces a scatter of forested islands, channels, and sea haze, with the best colour arriving late in the day.
The drive along this side of the island is part of the reward. In clear weather, arrive before sunset rather than racing in at the last minute.
