Seungdal Mountain

Low coastal mountain with ridge trails, old Buddhist sites, and Yellow Sea views.

Seungdal Mountain is only 332.5 metres high, but its position near the coast gives the ridge open views over Muan, Mokpo, and the islands of the Yellow Sea. Trails range from short climbs to longer ridge walks.

The mountain also has a Buddhist layer, with temple ruins and hermitages scattered around the slopes. It is a good choice when you want something more active than markets and mudflats.
