Mount Yuntai is one of the best viewpoints on Nangan, high enough to make sense of the broken coastline and scattered villages. On a clear day the sea views are excellent; in mist, the place feels properly remote.
The walk or drive up pairs well with Beihai Tunnel and the temple areas on the western side of Nangan. Bring a layer, because the wind can be sharper than you expect.
