☰Drače

Drače is a tiny village on the northern coast of the Pelješac peninsula in southern Dalmatia — a scatter of stone houses around a sheltered harbour, a handful of restaurants, and one of the quieter pebble-and-shingle beaches on the peninsula. There is nothing to "see" in the touristic sense: come for a few days of swimming in clear Adriatic water, seafood dinners on family konoba terraces, and the peninsula's famous Plavac Mali red wine from the Dingač vineyards a few kilometres west. The nearest substantial town is Ston, about 20 km south with its medieval walls and famous oysters; ferries to Korčula run from nearby Prapratno.
