The city's best-known local historian, a West Cork journal of landscape and archaeology, and a twenty-year Cork food blog

Cork's writers stay close to home. There is a city historian whose weekly columns have become walkable history trails, a pair of writers who spent years documenting every ruin and signal tower around Roaringwater Bay, and a food blogger who has been eating his way round the county for twenty years.

They take you to the Shakey Bridge on the Mardyke, the fish restaurant on Oliver Plunkett Street that uses every bit of the catch, and the clifftop signal tower above Baltimore.
