Whittaker's makes gin and whisky at Harewell House Farm in Dacre Banks, four miles down Nidderdale from Pateley Bridge. Tours run on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 1.30pm and 3.30pm: about 40 minutes round the stills and the whisky barrel warehouse, then a sit-down tasting of around eight gins and a whisky, two hours in all. Drivers can take a miniature home instead. Tasters must be 18 or over, and there is a café and shop. The pin is approximate.
