3 Blogs for the Highlands

The local board's new openings, a Highland walks column, and the community paper of the Small Isles and Mallaig

The Highlands' own writing comes from its local press and its local tourist board. A weekly walks column in the Inverness Courier is written for people who live here; a community monthly in Mallaig carries dispatches from the Small Isles; and the Inverness and Loch Ness board keeps a list of what has newly opened.

They take you to a bog woodland on the Black Isle, a shinty heritage centre, and the cafés of Canna and Rum.
