The Jura distillery stands on the main road through Craighouse, looking across Small Isles Bay. It produces Isle of Jura single malt and is owned by Whyte & Mackay; in an island economy this small it is by far the most important business.
Tours and tastings run from the visitor centre — check times before you come, as everything on the island works on a small scale.
