A dramatic pinnacle of rock rising 50 metres from the moorland above Loch Leathan on the Trotternish peninsula, about 8 km north of Portree. The formation is the most famous of the rock towers created by a massive ancient landslide on the east face of the Trotternish Ridge. A marked path from the car park on the A855 takes about 45 minutes to reach the base of the pinnacle. Views on a clear day extend to the Outer Hebrides.
