Quiraing

Dramatic landslip landscape with rock towers and plateau walks

A spectacular landslip landscape at the northern tip of the Trotternish peninsula, with a series of bizarre rock formations — needles, towers, and a flat plateau called The Table — set among green hillsides. A circular walking route (about 7 km) follows a path beneath the cliffs and across the plateau. The drive along the single-track road through the Quiraing is itself one of the most dramatic on Skye.
