Cwmtydu

Small cove south of New Quay with an old lime kiln, seals offshore, and the coast path north

A small shingle cove in a steep valley south of New Quay, with an old lime kiln behind the beach and grey seals often in the water offshore. From here the coast path runs north to New Quay past Castell Bach and Bird Rock, one of the best stretches of the Ceredigion coast.

Cwmtydu – a perfect picnic spot below the old lime kiln or why not walk out the first half mile to the stunning views across to the Lleyn peninsula.
