A Neolithic dolmen from around 3000 BC on the edge of town near the river: a capstone about four metres long resting on smaller upright stones. It would once have been covered by an earth mound that has long since gone. It is managed by Cadw and free to visit.
It is not as dramatic as Pentre Ifan, but the setting, in a small enclosure among modern houses, is part of its charm.
