Pembrokeshire has more holiday-cottage blogs than any county in Wales, and almost none of them pass the test of being written by locals for readers rather than for bookings. Two do. One is a volunteer magazine run by three residents. The other is the county tourist board's own list of quiet places.
Between them they cover the north coast's slate country around Abereiddi and Porthgain, and the coves of Dinas Island and the sea caves at Lydstep that most visitors never find.
