Five kilometres out of town on the road to the Pichilingue ferry terminal, which puts the boats closer to the islands than anything on the malecón.
They dive the Sea of Cortez proper — the sea lion colony at Los Islotes, the Salvatierra wreck, the seamounts off Espíritu Santo — and run the whale shark and sea lion snorkel combinations for people who would rather stay on the surface. Cousteau called this sea the world's aquarium, and the diving is the part that earns the line.
