Twenty years on these rivers, working out of an office on the Laredo road opposite the Misión hotel, and the most established adventure operator in the region.
They run the lot: rafting on the Tampaón, the waterfall descents at Micos, rappelling, the boat up to Tamul, the Sótano de las Golondrinas at dawn, Tamasopo and Xilitla. Multi-day packages string several together, which is the sensible way to do it — the sites are scattered across a hundred kilometres of back road and doing them one at a time from town wastes days in a car.
