Long Bay, on the south-east side of Provo, is one of the best places in the Caribbean to learn to kite: shallow, flat water that stays waist-deep for hundreds of metres, with the trade wind blowing side-on to the shore. Kite Provo has taught there since 2006. Kiteboarding and wing-foil lessons, rental and a shop, plus a paddleboard turtle tour in the mangroves.
