Dau Dang Waterfall

Dau Dang Waterfall marks the southern end of the boat route from Ba Be Lake. The Nang River cascades over a wide basalt shelf in a series of low drops rather than a single plunge — it is broad rather than tall, and the surrounding forest crowds in close on both sides. The boat ties up on the bank and you walk a short distance to the viewing point along the riverside.

The waterfall is most impressive in the wet season (June to September) when the river is running full. In the dry season the flow is slower but the water clearer. It is a natural turnaround point for day trips: most boats continue up from the lake, stop here for an hour, and return the same way.
