Moylussa is the highest point in County Clare at 532 metres, in the Slieve Bernagh hills west of Killaloe. It's a boggy hilltop, but the path up has been laid with shale to make the going easier.
It's the obvious hill walk from Killaloe, and on a clear day the climb repays you with the lake country of the lower Shannon spread out below.
