Getting There

The Impero Valley is best explored by car. There is no practical public transport to the upper villages.

Take the A10/A6 autostrada to the Imperia Est exit and head north on the SS28, which runs the full length of the valley from Imperia through Pontedassio, up past the turnoffs for Lucinasco and Dolcedo, and continues to Rezzo and over to Pieve di Teco in the Arroscia Valley. The drive from Imperia to Pieve di Teco takes about 50 minutes without stops.

Imperia is the nearest city with train connections along the Ligurian coast.
