The island is well suited to bicycles and e-bikes, and many visitors rent them near the port. Scooters are faster but less necessary than on larger islands; most of the main coves are close enough for a relaxed loop if you start early.
Roads are exposed, so carry water and sun protection. Some coastal paths and quarry areas are rough underfoot, especially around Bue Marino and Cala Rossa.
