A Grade II listed AA roadside telephone box from about 1956, on the A684 between Swinithwaite and Aysgarth. It is one of only a few left in Britain. A local resident has looked after it for years, and national park volunteers have recently repaired the walls and flower beds around it. Worth a stop on the way to Aysgarth Falls.
