Hidden behind the Three Sisters on the south side of the glen, the Lost Valley is one of the most rewarding shorter walks in Glencoe. A rough path climbs steeply from the valley floor and squeezes through a boulder-choked gorge before opening into a flat, surprisingly broad corrie ringed by cliffs. The walk takes two to three hours return and is well within reach of most reasonably fit walkers. Start from the car park at the Meeting of Three Waters on the A82.

A story
The MacDonalds used this hidden corrie to conceal cattle rustled from neighbouring clans. The valley floor is flat and invisible from below — a natural hiding place that served them well until it couldn't.
