Abaco is a sailing destination first: a chain of cays strung along a barrier reef, with the protected Sea of Abaco inside it. Most visitors rent a boat, and the dive shops on the cays take people out to the reef on the ocean side. The islands are still recovering from Hurricane Dorian in 2019, so check that a business is operating before you rely on it.
