The Exumas are a 200-kilometre chain of cays, and the famous sights are spread along it: the swimming pigs at Big Major Cay, Thunderball Grotto, the iguanas, the Land and Sea Park. From George Town on Great Exuma, a full day on a boat reaches most of them. From Staniel Cay they are minutes away. From Nassau there are fast day trips. Elizabeth Harbour, off George Town, has the diving and is the place to start a kayak trip down the cays.
