A community tour operator in Xpujil made up of a network of rural enterprises inside the municipality of Calakmul — which means the guides live in the reserve and the money stays in it.
They run the archaeological site, the Río Bec circuit, wildlife and birding days, the bat cave at dusk, and the village-based experiences that a Campeche-city agency cannot sell because it does not know the people.
The office is on Avenida Calakmul on the Chetumal side of Xpujil, an hour and a half from the site entrance.
