Tlalpujahua's two draws are underground and in glass: the old Dos Estrellas gold mine and the workshops that blow Christmas baubles by the million — the Feria de la Esfera fills the town from late October to December. The monarch sanctuaries of Sierra Chincua and El Rosario are within an hour.
