Pinal de Amoles is the high, cold gateway to the Sierra Gorda. The Cuatro Palos viewpoint and the El Chuveje waterfall are both near town. Puente de Dios, its best-known waterfall and natural bridge, was reported closed to the public in 2026 — check locally before planning around it.
