A binational conservation organisation that has studied the northern Gulf of California from Puerto Peñasco for more than forty years, and now takes visitors out with its naturalists. They give no street address, so the pin is on the town.
The estuary walk ends with a meal cooked by a women's cooperative; there is also kayaking in the estuary, with oysters if you want them, tidepooling at low tide, a visit to the oyster farm of the Punta Roja cooperative, trips to the sea lions of Isla San Jorge, the dunes, and hikes in the volcanic Pinacate that cover its geology and the Tohono O'odham who live around it.
