The west end is quieter, wilder and better for diving than the resort strip near town. The reef comes in close at Playa Kalki, Playa Lagun and the coves around Westpunt, so most diving out here is from the shore. Turtles feed in the shallows at Playa Piskado. Inland, Christoffelpark has guided jeep tours and the early-morning climb of the Christoffelberg, which you book through the park itself.
