The Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture is a focused museum on Chicago's Lithuanian community and the wider history of Lithuanian art, migration, and identity. The collection includes folk art, armour, coins, maps, amber jewellery, books, and archival material.
It is not in the usual downtown museum circuit, so it makes most sense for travellers with a specific interest in immigrant Chicago, Baltic history, or neighbourhood museums away from the lakefront.
