Juneway Terrace Beach is the northernmost beach in Chicago, a small Lake Michigan strip tucked just before the Evanston line. It is not one of the city's big show beaches, but the end-of-the-city setting gives it a quiet charm.
There is green space above the sand and a more neighbourhood feel than at the busier lakefront beaches farther south. Come for a short swim, a lakeside walk, or the satisfying sense of reaching Chicago's northern edge.
