House of Blues Chicago

Mid-sized music venue in the Marina City complex booking national acts across rock, blues, hip-hop, and gospel

A mid-sized music venue in the Marina City complex, the Chicago House of Blues is one of the original locations of the chain and retains more of the folk-art-covered interior character of the founding concept than most later locations. The room holds approximately 1,900 people and books a mix of blues, R&B, rock, country, and gospel touring acts.

The Sunday Gospel Brunch — buffet lunch with live gospel choir — has been running since the venue opened and is one of the city's more popular brunch events. Food service operates alongside shows. The venue is accessible from the Riverwalk and the surrounding Marina City complex. Dearborn at the river.
