St. Michael's Church is one of Old Town's major landmarks and one of the few Chicago buildings whose walls survived the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. The rebuilt church has a tall tower, early 20th-century stained glass, and a strong connection to the neighborhood's Catholic history.
