Taylor Canyon is a long backcountry route in the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands. From the Alcove Spring Trailhead, the trail drops by steep switchbacks into a rocky wash and then follows the canyon toward the Green River.
The full hike is about 20 miles round trip, so this is a serious day hike or overnight backcountry outing rather than a casual overlook stop.
