The Jindo Sea Parting is the island's signature sight: on a few low-tide days, the water pulls back enough to reveal a long path of mud, sand, and stones toward Modo Island. Koreans often call it the Miracle Sea Road, and the festival around it brings music, food stalls, rubber boots, and crowds.
