Elgol's appeal is almost entirely centred on one thing: the boat trip into Loch Coruisk and the dramatic Cuillin mountains beyond. The village also has a spectacular but challenging coastal walk to Camasunary, but it is the access to Coruisk that makes the detour out on this single-track road worth it.
