Pembrokeshire rewards walking above all else. The coastal path visits a different world every few miles — dramatic headlands, hidden coves, seal colonies, and beaches that look more Caribbean than Welsh. Inland, the Preseli Hills hide ancient standing stones and the quarry from which Stonehenge's bluestones were taken. The wildlife is exceptional: dolphins, porpoises, and grey seals are regularly spotted from the cliffs, and in spring the clifftops are blanketed in wildflowers.
