Air Vanuatu operates Twin Otter flights from Port Vila to Pentecost's two grass airstrips — Lonorore in the south and Sara in the north. Lonorore is the more useful for visitors going to the land dive at Panngi, Bunlap, or the Baravet villages; Sara serves the north and the trail across the central ridge. Flight schedules are sparse, dictated by demand, and prone to change at short notice.
The other option is the inter-island freight ships, which call at Pentecost as part of irregular northbound runs from Port Vila. These take passengers if you ask, take twelve to twenty hours, and are not for the seasick. During the land-dive season, organised tours generally fly groups in from Port Vila or Espiritu Santo for the day; this is the easiest option but also the most expensive.
