Whitby's harbour is busy with boats: short coastal trips on the yellow pleasure boats, sea-angling charters, and fully accessible powerboat trips for disabled people. On land there are evening ghost and Dracula walks, tours of the gin distillery and of the brewery beside the abbey, and surf lessons on the West Cliff beach.
