Tiny harbour whose brick hoppers and quarry ruins recall the slate and stone trade

A tiny harbour on the north coast where slate from Abereiddi and crushed stone from the local quarries were once shipped out. The big brick hoppers still line the quay. Today it is known for a famous pub and a fish restaurant, and it is the end of the walk along the old tramway from Abereiddi, past the remains of the quarry buildings.
