Glessner House Museum

Glessner House is an 1887 Arts and Crafts mansion designed by Henry Hobson Richardson, restored and furnished to show its Gilded Age interiors. The house is strongest as an architecture stop: its severe exterior, courtyard plan, and detailed rooms show why it became a landmark of Chicago domestic design.
