Mitsinjo Reserve

Mitsinjo Reserve is a community-run forest reserve beside Andasibe, managed by a local association that combines guiding, reforestation, and habitat protection. It is a good place to look for lemurs, chameleons, frogs, orchids, and birds with local guides who know the forest in detail.

The reserve works well as a complement to Analamazoatra and Mantadia rather than a substitute. Night walks are a particular strength, with a better chance of seeing small nocturnal wildlife than on a standard daytime trail.
