This 24.5-acre park is the centerpiece of modern Chicago. The Cloud Gate sculpture (universally known as "the Bean") is the city's most photographed landmark, and Anish Kapoor's mirrored surface reflects the skyline in mesmerizing ways. Frank Gehry's Jay Pritzker Pavilion hosts free summer concerts with space for thousands on the Great Lawn.

In winter, the McCormick Tribune Ice Rink fills with skaters and the Park Grill offers warming food alongside. The Lurie Garden and Crown Fountain are worth lingering over. CTA Red Line (Washington) and Brown/Green/Orange Line (Washington/Wabash) stops are nearby. Admission is free.
