Maebawi Artificial Waterfall drops over a tall rock face near Yongdae-ri, on the inland side of Seoraksan. In summer it is a cool roadside stop; in winter the frozen sheet becomes a training ground for ice climbers.
It is not one of Seoraksan's great natural sights, but it is memorable if you are passing through the valley or watching climbers work the ice.
