Roman Bath House

The Roman Bath House in Bearsden is one of the clearest surviving traces of the Antonine Wall frontier. Excavations uncovered rooms from a Roman bath complex, including hot and cold bathing areas, water systems, and latrines linked to the nearby fort.

The remains are modest, but the site is useful for understanding how far north Roman military control once reached. It works best for visitors with an interest in archaeology, Roman Britain, or the Antonine Wall.
