The Chicago Temple Building is a skyscraper church completed in 1924 for the First United Methodist Church of Chicago. Its street-level sanctuary is unusual enough, but the building is best known for the small Sky Chapel high in the tower.
It is an easy Loop architecture stop near Daley Plaza, the Rookery, and other downtown landmarks, and it adds a distinctive religious building to Chicago's skyscraper story.
