A deliberately modest neighbourhood bar on Division Street in Wicker Park that has been a community institution since 2008, known for an excellent selection of draft craft beers, a functioning jukebox, and a no-bullshit atmosphere that has remained consistent through the considerable changes to the surrounding neighbourhood. The kind of bar that becomes a default rather than a destination — worth knowing about if you are staying in the area.
The patio out back is one of the more pleasant outdoor drinking spaces on the North Side for the size. The beer selection rotates through a thoughtful mix of local and national craft; the whiskey selection is also well-considered. Division Street west of Damen.
